Military infiltration of Spec op Warriors into a dangerous place, a peek into that single Spec Op warrior's personality/ head/ point of view, and the set up for the full-length novel to come-- all tightly woven into a mere nine pages. Extraordinary. Dustin J. Turner writes with an economy of words, painting lush descriptions of setting, emotions riding beneath the calm surface, and the purpose-driven risks taken by our Military. This short did its job! I want to dive in and read THE SENATOR'S SON. Kudos to the author.

This gives an amazing background to the main story. It sets up the main character's personality and his determination. Loved it!
"This mission, like so many recent others, was based on a singular goal hunt down the world's most dangerous man." Great book for getting you interested in a high-tech counter-terrorism group with what promises to have plenty of action and likeable characters code-named "Matador, Fullback, Tao, Trigger, Schlitz and Locke." I for one am intrigued as to what "The Senator's Son" has to offer so will be looking to break open the piggy bank. Very good prequel!
